Humanitarian work and peacemaking in post-Yugoslavia are an important part of women's (religious) activism and interfaith dialogue and actions. In the context of political and economic transition and the narrative of (re)traditionalization of gender roles, certain theologians and scientists, each from their religious tradition, and then through joint action, reflect on gender equality as a fabric of sacred texts. Through interviews, interlocutors from Croatia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Macedonia participate in the dialogue about connecting theological thinking and social action, which is the focus of their theory and practice, but also about the patriarchal determination of theology and the consequences of theological thought for women. The texts were created as part of a project to promote journalistic excellence led by the Agency for Electronic Media.
